The project was developed under the frame of a commission France-Portugal Season, held simultaneously in the two countries between mid-February 2022 and October 2022, which symbolically made the link between the rotating Presidency of the European Union exercised by Portugal and France, and first exhibited at Hôtel de Ville, Paris (23 November 2022).
La Vague projects a giant wave on the facade of a municipal building in Paris – Hôtel de Ville. Its magnitude in dimension and movement.
The magnitude in dimension and movement of the wave is depicted by the drone. Through a birds-eye-view we see the moment where the sea in Nazaré meets the earth.
